Mom would be so proud!
We've been traveling quite a bit lately. Just got back from Puerto Vallerta late Friday night (pics coming soon I promise!) and we are off again this morning to St. Louis for our one year follow up appoinent with the surgeon. BTW: I cannot believe it has been a year already!
So I am not normally a reader. I usually only read on trips (hence all the reading lately). While in Mexico I finally picked back up on the Twilight series and finished Eclipse. On this trip I will try to conquer Breaking Dawn...
In Mexico, I also had a chance to read a book called "Same Kind of Different As Me". My mom let me borrow it for the trip (bless her heart she is always trying to find something for me to read!) This book is fantastic! The preacher from Memorial Road in Tulsa where my sister attends church, Terry Rush, assured my mom this book was as good or better than "The Shack". So true! I really enjoyed The Shack- although apparantly controversial...
"Same Kind of Different As Me" is not as controversial, but just as thought provoking! It is the narrative of two unlikely friends and one's journey to find a true and right relationship with God. Very fast and easy read. Be sure to check this one out! (PS, skip over the pics in the middle of the book until you are finished reading because they spoil the ending!)

If I had known you had not started the Twilight series until JUST NOW . . . I would have been on your case :) Hope you are enjoying them! This fall a group of us are getting together to see the midnight showing of New Moon!
Also . . I love the other book you recommended, Same Kind of Different As Me. LOVED IT!
